Penny Patch Quilt-Along

I have decided to join a quilt-along. I have not participated in a quit-along before so I figured I would give it a shot. This one is the Penny Patch by Stitched in Color. I have just ordered my fabric (Scrumptious fat quarter bundle) from www.our-epoch.com.

It's not too late to join us on this adventure! Check out Rachel's blog and join the quilt-along!! :)

Ribbon Organization

This is a fantastic way to store your ribbon if you have an extra drawer. All you need to do it buy PVC pipe from the hardware store, then have it cut in half so you get to "c" shapes, then have it cut to the length of your drawer.

You can achieve this organization though adding a think curtain rod to the bottom of an existing shelf...or you can just add the rod to the wall over your desk, on the door in the closet, or anywhere else that is more convenient for you. You could even use a tension rod and put it inside a shelf on a bookcase.

Easy DIY Pudding Pops

What you need:
Popsicle Molds and Popsicle Sticks    -OR- a freezable container to make it like a tub of ice cream
Box of Vanilla & a Box of Chocolate Instant Pudding

1. Fill molds with half vanilla and the other half chocolate.
2. If pudding has set, spoon ingredients into molds, if it hasn't, pour.
3. If pudding has set, place your popsicle sticks, pop in freezer for about 3-4 hours.

*You will want to use the popsicle sticks to "swirl" your half/halfs together...if you want a nice swirly mix.
